Maruschka Detmers

Maruschka Detmers ( born December 16, 1962 in Schoonebeek ) is a Dutch actress.

Life

The daughter of a veterinarian and a teacher, she moved to Paris at age 18. She worked there as an Au Pair and took acting lessons. In Paris, she was discovered by Jean -Luc Godard, he occupied with her the female lead in his film first name Carmen.

The German television viewers she became known for her role as Silvie Lauretz in the trilogy Via Mala. In 1986, she starred in the drama Devil on the body, in which she played with her film partners a non- simulated fellatio scene, which brought greater attention to the film.

Although Detmers has since been continuously engaged as a film actress, she was no longer able to build on their early successes.
