Marvin Bower

Marvin Bower (* August 1, 1903; † 22 January 2003) came in 1933 for the consulting firm McKinsey and was there from 1950 to 1967 Managing Director.

The business lawyer (studies at Boston University and Harvard Law School) took over soon a leading role in the New York office. After the death of James Oscar McKinsey, he developed a still allegedly still valid today corporate mission.

He resigned his management ideas in the book " The will to manage. Leading the Art " bundled.
