Marvin Marvin
Marvin Marvin is an American youth sitcom that tells of the life of the alien boy Marvin. The series was developed by Jon Ross and Jeff Bushell. The first episode was aired on 24 November 2012 at the U.S. television channel Nickelodeon after the finale of iCarly, Carly Ciao. The series finale was shown on April 27, 2013. The German Original Air Date was from March 24 to September 20, 2013 on Nickelodeon.
Action
As Marvin's home planet is under attack by aliens, his parents send him to the earth. There he is taken by Bob and Liz Forman and their children Teri and Henry. From now on, Marvin must bring to his new environment and must not give up his human disguise, lest he endanger himself and his family. But Marvin must quickly realize that human life is not that easy and can be very turbulent.
In the course of the series Teris girlfriend Brianna comes the secret of Marvin and promises him to keep it a secret. In the series finale, Marvin must face the aliens Klerg to save his family and Big Time Rush.
Production
In January 2012, Nickelodeon announced the production of a pilot series with Lucas Cruikshank. On 14 March 2012, the station ordered the first season with 26 episodes. Actually, the series should start in early 2013, but then the premiere was moved up to the 24th November 2012. The episode number was later reduced to 20 episodes.
On June 26, 2013 Cruikshank announced via Twitter that the show was canceled after one season.
