Marvin Ogunjimi

Marvin Ogunjimi ( born October 12, 1987 in Mechelen) is a Belgian football player who is under contract with the Spanish side RCD Mallorca since 2012.

Playing career

KRC Genk (2004-2011)

Between 2004 and 2011, played Marvin Ogunjimi for KRC Genk in the Jupiler Pro League. He celebrated his biggest success in the 2010/11 season by winning the Belgian Championship. Ogunjimi achieved, including the final round of fifteen goals and was by Jelle Vossen top scorer of his team. Already in 2009 he had won with Genk by a 2-0 final win against KV Mechelen the Belgian Cup.

RCD Mallorca ( 2011 - )

Effective 1 January 2012 it undertook the Spanish first division side RCD Mallorca after a change had failed in the summer.

Belgian National Team (2010 -)

On 8 October 2010 Ogunjimi debuted in Astana in a 2-0 win over Kazakhstan for Belgium and was with two goals after coming on the key players of the game. In qualifying for the European Championship 2012, he was the best scorer of the Belgian national football team with five goals.
