Mary de Bohun

Mary de Bohun (c. 1369; † June 4, 1394 ) was the first wife of Henry Bolingbroke, the future Henry IV of England, and the mother of King Henry V of England. She was never queen, as she died before the throne of her husband.

Mary was the daughter of Humphrey de Bohun, 7th Earl of Hereford, and the Joan FitzAlan of Arundel. She married Henry, who was then known as Bolingbroke, 1380 or 1381st She and her older sister Eleanor, wife of Henry's uncle Thomas of Woodstock, were as Erbtöchter coveted games.   • Philippa (* June 4, 1394; † January 5, 1430 ) ∞ Erik of Pomerania.

Mary died as a result of Philippa's birth, she was buried in St. Mary's Church in Leicester.
