Mary Mara

Mary Mara ( born September 21, 1960 in Syracuse, New York ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Mara studied at the San Francisco State University and worked at this time on Haight Ashbury Repertory Theatre. She then graduated from the Yale School of Drama. She played her first role alongside Danny Aiello and William Baldwin in the TV thriller murder without a motive from the year 1989.

In the action-comedy The Hard Way (1991 ) Mara played the role of the police investigator China, a colleague of Detective Lt.. John Moss, James Woods played. In the comedy The last comedian - Mr. Saturday Night (1992 ) she starred opposite Billy Crystal and Helen Hunt, in the comedy Love Potion No.. 9 - The Scent of Love (1992 ) next to Tate Donovan and Sandra Bullock. From 1995 to 1996 she was in a few episodes of the TV series Emergency Room - To see the emergency room, in the years 1996 to 1997, she starred in the television series Nash Bridges. In the film, Em & Me (2004), she took a starring role.

Mara appeared in several plays at, including alongside Jeff Goldblum, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Michelle Pfeiffer in Twelfth Night at the New York Shakespeare Festival. She lives in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
