Mary Tamm

Mary Tamm ( born March 22, 1950 in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England; † July 26, 2012 in London) was a British actress.

Life

Tamm completed his studies at the London Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, whose member she was later. She made her debut at a theater in Birmingham in 1971, a year later, she moved again to London.

Her first television role was Tamm in an episode of the British television series Hunter 's Walk from the year 1973. In the thriller The Odessa File (1974 ) she played alongside Jon Voight and Maximilian Schell one of the major roles. She played a greater role in the comedy Two cute fruits (1976). In the years 1978 and 1979 she appeared in 26 episodes of the TV series Doctor Who. In later years she was seen, also in a larger role in the BBC television series Paradise Heights (2002) as well as in guest roles in numerous other television series.

Tamm died in July 2012 after a long battle with cancer disease. She was married and mother of a daughter since 1978.
