Geography
Maryland Heights is located in north- western suburbs of St. Louis on the south bank of the Missouri River at 38 ° 39'12 " north latitude and 90 ° 33'15 " west longitude. The city extends over 84.8 km ², spread to 81.6 km ² land and 3.2 km ² water surface.
The city is the center of Maryland Heights Township, but also extends into the North West, Midland, Airport, Creve Coeur and Chesterfield Township.

Traffic
The northern boundary of the city is Interstate 70, which comes on the Blanchette Memorial Bridge from the northwest across the Missouri River in St. Louis County. About five kilometers to the south of it there is a second Missouribrücke to Maryland Heights, across the freeway developed Missouri State Route 364 leads to the south of the city. Both roads meet on Interstate 270 bypass west of St. Louis.
