Masako Nozawa
Masako Nozawa (Japanese野 沢 雅子, Nozawa Masako; bourgeois: Masako Tsukada (冢 田 雅子, Masako Tsukada ), born October 25, 1936 in Arakawa, Tokyo city (now Tokyo) ) is a Japanese actress and voice actress ( seiyū ).
Life
Born in Tokyo, Masako Nozawa raised in Numata, Gunma Prefecture, and began her acting career at the age of two years. She is married with Masaaki Tsukada, who is also active as a voice actor. Nozawa was primarily known for the voice of the main character Goku in the Japanese version of the anime series Dragon Ball and its offshoots.
In 1997 she received a special award for their achievements at the 2nd Animation Kobe and in 2012 the Tokyo Anime Award of Merit in the category of voice actors.
