Masayuki Yanai

Masayuki Yanai (Japanese箭 内 政 之; Yanai Masayuki, born 1959 ) is a Japanese astronomer and asteroid explorer.

Together with his colleague Kazuo Watanabe he discovered a total of 27 asteroids at the observatory in Kitami (IAU code 400) between 1987 and 1992.

The asteroid ( 4260 ) Yanai was named after him.
