Mashgiach

A Mashgiach (Hebrew משגיח ) is a supervisor who monitors compliance with the rules of the Jewish dietary laws of kashrut. The Superintendence has a rabbi, or an entity under rabbinical supervision organization. A typical everyday work of the Mashgiach, for example, the control of eggs. This must not contain any traces of blood. From a Mashgiach controlled foods are provided with a kosher stamp.
