Masohi ( Indonesian Kota Masohi ) is a town on the Indonesian island of Seram.

Geography

Masohi on the southern coast of the central part of the island of Seram. It is an autonomous city within the administrative district ( kabupaten ) of the Central Moluccas ( Maluku Tengah ). The city is the capital of the governmental district.

2011 there were plans, the capital of Maluku province on August 19, 2012 from Ambon to Masohi embarrassed. However, this did not take place.

Transport and Traffic

Masohi is one of the two places on Seram with a flight connection to the provincial capital of Ambon. It also issues a speedboat connection of Tulehu on Ambon.
