Masseot Abaquesne

Masseot Abaquesne (* 1500 in Cherbourg, † 1564 in Sotteville- lès -Rouen ) was a French potter and Fayencier.

Life and work

Little is known about the formation of Masseot Abaquesne. For the first time he is mentioned in a document from Rouen from October 1526 as Emballeur ( " Packers ").
