The Massey University is a public university founded in 1927 in New Zealand. It bears the name of the former New Zealand prime minister William Massey.

The University has at its three locations, including Palmerston North, Wellington and Auckland, around 19,000 students. There are also around 18,000 New Zealand distance students.
