Massimo Codol
Massimo Codol ( born February 27, 1973 in Lecco ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.
Massimo Codol began his career in 1998 with the cycling team Mapei Bricobi. After only one year, he joined Lampre- Daikin, where he decided in 2000, a stage of the Basque Country Tour and the Japan Cup for themselves. In 2003 he moved to Mercatone Uno, the team of Marco Pantani. At the Giro d' Italia, he finished with the 15th place in the standings his best result there. His captain Pantani was only one rank higher. In 2005 he won a stage of the Settimana Internazionale.
