Massimo Martino

Massimo Martino ( born September 18, 1990 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgian football player of Italian descent.

Career

The defender played from 2007 to 2009 in the first division RFC Union Luxembourg in the National Division, whose youth he comes too.

For the season 2009/10 international joined the Premier League rivals Jeunesse Esch, in which he did not remain long, however, as it was in their training camp in Bitburg a contract signed after a trial with SV Wuppertal. On the final day he came against Dynamo Dresden at its sole use in the 3rd league. Previously, he played 17 times for the second team in the Lower Rhine league.

In 2010 he returned to Luxembourg in the National Division for FC RM Hamm Benfica, for whom he played until 2012. For the season 2012/13 he moved to F91 Dudelange.

National

Previously, Martino played 17 international matches for the Luxembourg national. He made his debut on 27 May 2008 in a friendly against Cape Verde. His competitive debut, he played on 14 October 2009 at the World Cup qualifier against Greece when he came on in the 80th minute for Kim Kintziger. Previously, Martino part of the U-21 team, and the U -17 and U-19 Juniors Luxembourg.

In 2006 he took part in Luxembourg with the U-17 European Championship on home country and came in all games of Luxembourg used.
