Massimo Strazzer

Massimo Strazzer ( born August 17, 1969 in Zevio ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.

Career

By age 5, went Strazzer wheel for the first time at the age of 6 years he then began with the racing on. Professional, he was in 1991 when Team Jolly Componibili club. As early as the second professional year, he was able to celebrate a victory in the Settimana Siciliana. Overall, it took from 1992 to 2002 eight times a Giro d' Italia in part. His best of five final rankings was recorded in 1998. At the Giro he could record his greatest success, the victory in the points classification 2001. 2002 he was in this second vote, but won the Giro Inter - rating. He also began in 1994 at the Tour of Spain and 1997 Tour de France, where he finished, however, neither of the two tours. After the 2004 season, he finished his 14 - year professional career.

Doping

On November 2, 2001 Strazzer is tested during the Track Cycling World Championships in Antwerp positive for EPO. However, since the B sample had a value below the limit, he was acquitted.
