Massy Tadjedin

Massy Tadjedin (born 1976 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian- American film director and screenwriter.

Life

The Iranian-born Massy Tadjedin grew up in Orange County, California. She made 1999 a degree in English Literature from Harvard University. My first drama Leo, directed by Mehdi Norowzian and starring Joseph Fiennes, Dennis Hopper and Elisabeth Shue in the lead roles, was released in 2002. Having them in the lead roles, wrote screenplay for the mystery thriller The Jacket, starring Adrien Brody, Keira Knightley and Kris Kristofferson, she made her debut with the drama Last Night as a director.
