Master (judiciary)

A master is in the organization of courts of England and Wales, a legal career at the Chancery Division and the Queen's Bench Division of the High Court, assisting the judge in civil litigation matters. The profession finds its origins in the 12th century in the Court of Chancery and merged over time with various other auxiliary occupations in court. His task today is to hear requests ( motions ) and prepare procedural details and to accompany a subsequent enforcement of the judgment.
