Master of the Legend of Saint Lucy

Master of the Lucia legend is the Notname for an Early Netherlandish painter who was from 1480 to 1501 and possibly even longer in Bruges, West Flanders, active. In his works often appear on cityscapes of Bruges, as in the depiction of Saint Nicholas ( Bruges, Groeninge Museum) or in the Virgo inter- virgins display in the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels. The artist is also performed under the name Bruges Master of 1480 and master of the Marriage of St. Catherine.
