Master of the Nets Garden

The Garden of the Master of Nets ( :; characters long网 师 园: Sign网 师 园; Pinyin: Wǎngshī Yuán ) in Suzhou is one of the famous southern Chinese private gardens. It originated in the 18th century. The garden is built very dense and has a plurality of corners, quiet little courtyards on. Centerpiece of the garden is a nearly square pond which occupies a relatively large area of land and is surrounded by pavilions, corridors, standing above the water buildings, bridges and rocks, creating a varied scenery. The shore is made with limestone, with artful niches were formed - a takeover of the Chinese landscape painting in the garden design.

The garden is available since 1982 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China and is one of the classical gardens of Suzhou, which are registered in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Asia and Oceania) since 1997.
