Master of Theology

The Master of Theology ( MTh ) is a master's degree in theology.

In Germany, the degree in Protestant or Catholic theology or religion in consecutive courses due to the structural requirements of the Standing Conference of Master of Arts. If a different master degrees as the MTh can only be granted in a postgraduate course of study due to these specifications.

In some other countries the MTh is a consecutive patch on the Bachelor of Theology degree.

In Germany the Master of Theology is currently assigned part-time at the University of Marburg. The Society for Education and Research in Europe ( GBFE ) and its affiliated institutes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland offer the degree in cooperation with the University of South Africa ( UNISA ). The assessment of student achievements is carried out according to the European Credit Transfer System ( ECTS).
