Masterpiece
A masterpiece is called in today's parlance, a particularly successful, critically acclaimed works, as well as the best work of an artist during his creative period.
Originally a custom built to obtain the Master title thesis, particularly the high projecting called a masterpiece. In the trades, and only there, it is also referred to as a masterpiece.
The understanding of the term is closely linked with the development of the visual arts, architecture, literature and music and also determined by the culture.
