Masurius Sabinus

Masurius (also Massurius ) Sabinus was a Roman jurist of the first half of the 1st century AD

Under Emperor Tiberius Masurius was elevated about 50 -year-old to knighthood. His main work, the libri tres iuris Civilis, a concise representation of civil law, probably without a specific system. This floor plan of civil law won a nearly identical law authority. The work has been commented by Pomponius, Paul and Ulpian. Masurius applies before Cassius Longinus as one of the two main schools of jurisprudence ( or Sabinianer Cassian unlike the Proculianern ).
