MAT Macedonian Airlines ( Македонски Авио Транспорт, Makedonski Avio Transport ) was the national airline of Macedonia with its headquarters in Skopje.
History
MAT Macedonian Airlines was established on 17 January 1994 and started operations in June 1994 with a flight to Zurich on.
In December 2008, MAT Macedonian Airlines was the permits for flights to Germany and Italy withdrawn because fees had not been paid by Euro Control. Vienna and Zurich were still served.
Macedonian Airlines has ceased operations on May 20, 2009.
Destinations
MAT Macedonian Airlines operated exclusively European destinations. Direct target airports were Berlin, Dusseldorf, Istanbul, Hamburg, Vienna, Zurich, Rome and Amsterdam. From Ohrid passed connections to Dusseldorf, Vienna and Zurich.
