matchbox twenty

Matchbox twenty (originally Matchbox 20) is a rock band from Orlando, Florida. In addition to the five band members Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette, Adam Gaynor and Kyle Cook producer Matt Serletic regarded as the unofficial sixth member. Worldwide sold the tape over 20 million albums, and ranks among one of the most successful bands in recent years.

History

Rob Thomas, Brian Yale (nicknamed Pookie ) and Paul Doucette first played in the band Tabitha 's Secret, before 1995 together with Adam Gaynor and Kyle Cook Matchbox 20 founded.

2000 changed the group with the release of their second album, Mad Season by matchbox twenty the spelling of the band name of Matchbox 20 matchbox twenty.

After matchbox twenty were almost two years in the course of just this album on tour, they treated themselves to a break in October 2001 to allow time for their own families and other projects to take care of. So wrote the singer and mastermind of the band, Rob Thomas, at this time, inter alia, songs for Willie Nelson, Mick Jagger, Carlos Santana and Marc Anthony. Guitarist Kyle Cook worked with his second band, The New Left and drummer Paul Doucette and guitarist Adam Gaynor tried on our own songs.

In April 2002, matchbox twenty were at the concert, Willie Nelson and Friends: Stars and Guitars in Nashville back together.

The work on her third album, More Than You Think You Are officially began in June 2002 at the famous Bearsville Studios in rural Woodstock, New York. The final work took place in New York City in the Hit Factory.
