Mateo Musacchio

Mateo Musacchio ( born August 26, 1990 in Rosario ) is an Argentine- Italian football player who is currently with FC Villarreal, and the Argentine national team to use. He plays as a central defender preferred.

Career

Club career

His beginnings in the professional sector had Musacchio 2006 at the CA River Plate in the first Argentine Football League. He had his first deployment when he came off the bench in a game against CA Velez Sarsfield on December 10, 2006 at the age of 16 years. In the coming years, he gained his first professional experience before he moved to Spanish side Villarreal in August 2009.

In his first season in Spain he came for both the first and for the second team of the club used in the season 2010/11, however, he scored with 27 inserts fixed already for the circuit of the professional squad. In the following two seasons he was a regular player, the team from the Premier League relegation. On September 1, 2012 in a game against CD Guadalajara he scored his first goal for the first team.

After a year in the second league, the team of coach Marcelino García Toral realized in the summer of 2013, the direct return to the Primera División.

National

In 2011 came Musacchio, who had already been through several youth teams, his only previous appearances for the national team of Argentina. On 1 June 2011 he played for 27 minutes against Nigeria, four days later in the 1-2 against Poland, he played his first game for the full distance.
