Mathias Abel ( born June 22, 1981 in Kaiserslautern ) is a German football player.

Career

The beginnings

In his youth, the defender played for Kaiserslautern 1.FC Eintracht Bad Kreuznach, changed to 1998. From January 2001 to 2002, he was at Borussia Dortmund under contract for the amateurs, he played in the Regionalliga.

Mainz 05
