In Continental Cup he showed in the following Apply only average performance.

Only in December 2004, he again won the COC jumping in Lahti. But knee problems did not allow good performance for the rest of the season. After the World Cup season, he decided to undergo a knee operation.

After he was not in shape at the start of the Olympic season, he was able to increase its shape slowly and won the end of January in Braunlage the COC competition and finished in the COC overall ranking as the best Austrian third place.

Because of strong performances at the end of the season 2005/ 06 he was promoted to the A-team and in the training group 2. Here, however, he could not prevail against great competition, so that he eventually no longer belonged to the start of the 2007/2008 season for the A-team of the Austrians. Since then he has worked as a service technician of the Austrian Ski Federation Ski Jumping team.
