Mathias Lange

Mathias Lange ( born April 13, 1985 in Klagenfurt) is an Austrian professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2013 in the Iserlohn Roosters of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract. Since he also has the German nationality, he occupied there is no point to the limited foreigner quota.

Career

Mathias Lange began his career as a hockey player in the youth of the EC KAC, for the first team, he made his debut in the Austrian Hockey League in the 2001/ 02 season, as he sat in three games on the bench and there was a time between the posts. Subsequently, the goalkeeper moved to the Billings Bulls, for which he was the following two years active in the Junior League America West Hockey League. Then the left catcher played one season for New York Apple Core of the Eastern Junior Hockey League. From 2005 to 2009 the Austrians for the team of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the National Collegiate Athletic Association went on before he signed a contract with the DEG Metro Stars received from the German Ice Hockey League for the 2009/10 season.

For Austria Lange took the U18 Junior B World Championships in 2001, 2002 and 2003, as well as the U20 Junior B World Cup 2003 part. In addition, he was in the squad of Austria at the U20 World Youth Championship in 2004.
