Mathias Ntawulikura

Mathias Ntawulikura (* July 14, 1964 in Gisovu in Kibuye in the Western Province ) is a Rwandan long distance runner.

At the 10,000 - meter race of the IAAF World Championships in Tokyo in 1991, he finished seventh in Stuttgart tenth the 5000 - meter race of the World Cup in 1993 and the 10,000 - meter race 1995 World Cup in Gothenburg the 15th Place.

Four times he took part in the Olympic Games. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, he failed in the run in the 10,000 m at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, he was eighth over this distance, the marathon of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, he came on the 15th Place and in the marathon of the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, he finished 62nd.

Mathias Ntawulikura still holds (November 2007 ) three national records: More than 3000 m ( 7:41,64 min, August 16, 1992 in Cologne), 5000 m ( 13:11,29 min, June 9, 1992 in Rome) and over the marathon distance ( 2:09:55 h, placed seventh of the London Marathon 2000). His best time in the 10,000 m ( 27:25,48 min) he scored in Brussels on 23 August 1996.
