Mathieu Carle

Mathieu Carle ( born September 30, 1987 in Gatineau, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with the KHL Medveščak Zagreb in the Kontinental Hockey League since June 2013.

Career

Mathieu Carle began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL, where he and titanium Huskies de Rouyn -Noranda was active from 2003 to 2007 for the Acadie - Bathurst. In 2004 he was elected to the All- Rookie team in the league. During his QMJHL time he was also selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2006 in the second round than a total of 53 players from the Canadiens de Montréal. However, from 2007 to 2011, the defender came almost exclusively for their farm team in Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League action in which he was one of the lead players. In addition, he represented the Bulldogs in 2011 at AHL All-Star Classic. For the Canadiens de Montréal, he was only in the 2009/10 season in three games in the National Hockey League on the ice. On 15 July 2011 he was transferred in exchange for Mark Mitera to the Anaheim Ducks, played in the season 2011/12 but only for their AHL farm team Syracuse Crunch.

For the 2012/13 season Carle was obliged Dinamo Riga in the Kontinental Hockey League. After Dinamo had no chance of reaching the KHL playoffs, Carle was delivered to the Genève -Servette HC of the National League A in January 2013.

In June 2013 Carle was taken from the KHL Medveščak Zagreb from the Kontinental Hockey League contract.
