Mathieu Claude

Mathieu Claude ( born March 17, 1983 in Niort ) is a former French cyclist.

Career

As U23 riders Mathieu Claude won, among others, in 2003 Paris -Tours. 2005, the 1.80 meter tall and 69 kilogram cyclist turned professional with the French ProTour team Bouygues Télécom. In his first year was his best finish of sixth place in the GP d' Isbergues. In 2006 he finished seventh in the Châteauroux Classic de l' Indre and ninth in Nokere - Koerse. In the Vuelta a Espana, he ventured to the sixth stage an escape alone, but was caught up before the finish.

After he suffered a torn ACL in 2012, he decided to finish the end of the 2012 season of his career. When Team Europcar he can take a different position in the team in 2013.
