Mathieu Kassovitz

Mathieu Kassovitz ( born August 3, 1967 in Paris, France) is a French actor, film director and screenwriter.

Life

Mathieu Kassovitz is the son of French director Peter Kassovitz, a Jewish immigrant from Hungary, and a French Catholic. Kassovitz was awarded the prize for best director at the Cannes Film Festival in 1995; hate his film won the César for Best film. Kassovitz also became known as a director of films The Crimson Rivers by Jean Reno and Gothika with Halle Berry and Penelope Cruz. As an actor, Kassovitz is best known for his role as Nino in the movie The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie as well as Father Riccardo in Costa -Gavras ' The Deputy.

Politics

Mathieu Kassovitz said in September 2011 at the Toronto Hearings of the International Center for 9/11 Studies. There he expressed his skeptical opinion about the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001.
