Mathilde Santing

Mathilde Santing (actually Mathilde Eleveld; born October 24, 1958 in Amstelveen ) is a Dutch singer.

Life

In 1981, she debuted at Sonja Barend in the TV show Sonja op Maandag ( engl: Sonja on Monday ) and was known nationwide. They established themselves in the Dutch music scene and year after year published new singles or albums from her. In 2001, her second to last studio album New Amsterdam on the market and in 2003 the live recording of their tour Negen levens. After a nearly three - year hiatus, she released her last CD 2006 Under your charms.

In the theater season 2006/2007 she appeared in the role of Glinda in the musical The Wiz. On 27 July 2007 she was knighted in the Order of Orange- Nassau, the Dutch Order of Merit, appointed.
