Maths is a song by Canadian House-/Electro Deep House producer Deadmau5. It was first released on iTunes on February 17, 2012. For the first time the song appeared in a YouTube video of Deadmau5 called drowned rat on 1 June 2011. On February 17, 2012, the full version on YouTube has been published.

Music Video

The music video was released on 23 February 2012. It has no real content, in yellow running across the screen texts as " __MATHS__ " or " __DEADMAU5__ ". Deadmau5 announced on Facebook that an employee of the label would have the video just thrown together and then uploaded and it is not the official music video, but simply something "for YouTube and so ". Accordingly, the video title Unofficial and Unapproved video my labels management just threw up here ..

Criticism

Says Senthil Chidambaram on Dancing Astronaut that the song was Daft Punk influences, but it would also have similarities with his biggest hit to date, Ghosts ' n' Stuff. An author of indecentxposure.net has the opinion that Maths is like those who Deadmau5s like hard electro beats.
