Matilda, Abbess of Quedlinburg

Mathilde (* top 955; † February 7/8 999 ) was from 966 until her death in the first abbess on the pin hill in Quedlinburg. She is venerated as Blessed, especially in the Diocese of Magdeburg.

Mathilde was a daughter of Emperor Otto I and granddaughter of St. Mathilde. Her mother was Adelaide of Burgundy, daughter of the Burgundian king Rudolf II as eleven, she was ordained 966 of all archbishops and bishops of the kingdom to the Abbess of Quedlinburg.
