Matjaž Rozman

Matjaž Rozman ( born January 3, 1987 in Ptuj, Yugoslavia ) is a Slovenian football player. The goalkeeper was most recently in the 2010/2011 season for SpVgg Greuther Fürth under contract.

Career

Matjaž Rozman began his career in 2003 in the youth of NK Drava Ptuj. In 2005 he moved to NK Aluminij, where he came in 36 games in the second- highest of the Slovenian league in two seasons. In 2007 he went to the first division inter-block Ljubljana and sat there through as regular keeper. Using inter-block he won the 2008 National Cup and the Super Cup, the Cup victory in 2009, he was behind Strajnar Janez substitute goalkeeper. In the UEFA Cup 2008/ 09 he failed with the club in the 2nd qualifying round at Hertha BSC, a year later, in the Europa League, the successor competition of the UEFA Cup, in the third qualifying round against Metalurh Donetsk conclusion.

In January 2010 he moved abroad and hired German second division club SpVgg Greuther Fürth, where he signed a contract until 2012. Neither in the second half of this still in the first half of the following season, however, came to use. As a goalkeeper Max Green then failed injured early 2011, he did not return to the train. Rather, a new number one was nachverpflichtet and the previous number three Jasmin Fejzić was his replacement. In its place, Rozman was used in the Regional team. In summer 2011, he left therefore SpVgg.

National

Rozman played between 2008 and 2009 five appearances in the Slovenian U-21 national team.
