Matraca Berg

Matraca Maria Berg ( born February 3, 1964 in Nashville, Tennessee, first name is pronounced: mətreɪsə ) is an American country music singer. She has released five studio albums. In 2008, she was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Well-known songs from her are I Got It Bad and Back in the Saddle.

Berg began to write plays for country greats like Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Tanya Tucker, Ray Price, Marie Osmond and Sweethearts of the Rodeo. With the book written by her song Last One to Know Reba McEntire had a number one hit.

Since 1990 mountain writes songs for himself and stands at RCA Records. With two out-coupled from their first album Lying To The Moon Singles, Baby, Walk On The Things You Left Undone and, Matraca Berg had two 1990 Top 40 hits in the C & W charts.

Berg is in a relationship with Jeff Hanna, a member of the U.S. folk, rock and country band Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
