Matt Lucas

Matthew " Matt" Richard Lucas ( born March 5, 1974 in Stanmore, London ) is a British actor and singer. He was primarily known for his work with David Walliams in the sketch show Little Britain.

Life

Lucas grew up in Stanmore. He since childhood has been suffering from hair loss. He went to Haberdashers ' Aske 's Boys ' School, along with other celebrities such later Sacha Baron Cohen and David Baddiel.

Lucas studied acting at Bristol.

After three years of relationship Lucas went on 17 December 2006, the movie producer Kevin McGee, a registered partnership. Registration took place on a small scale, the costume party afterwards, however, was visited by many famous colleagues. In June 2008, after six years of partnership, the couple separated again. The dissolution of the compound is considered to be one of the first in the context of public figures in the United Kingdom.

Career

At eighteen, Lucas began with comedy in the theater of Bernard Chumley. A crucial step to stardom was when he was with Bob Mortimer was in 1992 on the stage.

In 2001 he began work on the show Little Britain which was first aired as a radio show on BBC Radio 4 with David Walliams. The first season of the television series was broadcast on BBC Three in 2003. 2006, the series was canceled after the third season. 2005 Lucas played a Venetian prince in the series Casanova ( BBC).

Lucas wrote lyrics for Sacha Baron Cohen, especially for the character Ali G.

In the published 2004 spoof Shaun of the Dead Lucas plays the cousin Tom.

Lucas was elected in July 2006 by the British newspaper The Independent for his involvement in such areas as entertainment, business, politics and science in ninth place of the most influential homosexuals in Britain.

In 2007, Lucas along with the comedian Peter Kay and the Proclaimers, a charity single in aid of Comic Relief on. In the remake of the Proclaimers hit I'm Gonna Be ( 500 Miles), he appeared in his recurring role of Andy Pipkin from Little Britain. The single was a number -one hit in the UK.

2010 Lucas was to be seen in a double role in Tim Burton's remake of Alice in Wonderland. He plays the twins Diedeldei and Diedeldum ( Tweedledum and Tweedledee in the original ).

On June 23, 2010 Lucas was in the musical Les Misérables Geburtagsaufführung to see ( 25) at London's O2 Arena on the stage, where he appeared in the role of the host Thénardier. This performance was released as a video. 2012, it was announced that Lucas will take over the role of Thénardier in the London Muscial for three months.

Since December 2010, Lucas is seen along with David Walliams in the mockumentary Come Fly with Me. The series shows a humorous way the daily life of a fictitious airport and its employees and passengers.
