Matt Reid (tennis)

Matt Reid (born 17 July 1990) is an Australian tennis player.

Career

His debut on the ATP World Tour gave Reid the men's doubles at the Australian Open 2009 on the side of Dane Propoggia. They lost their opening match against Igor Kunizyn and Zhang Ze in two sets 4:6 4:6 and. His first victory at this level, he celebrated until four years later, also at the Australian Open, where he defeated at the side of Samuel Groth in the first round, the duo James Duckworth and Chris Guccione. In the tennis world rankings so he moved to 183 places at position 327 off what was his best finish in the double vote until then. After his first title on the ATP Challenger Tour he proceeded again to 70 seats. He won with his doubles partner Groth at the tournament in Adelaide, Australia. Two months later, on April 6, 2013 his second title followed the Challenger Tour. With his new partner Chris Guccione on the side, he won the Mexican León against the Indian double Purav Raja and Divij Sharan.
