Matt Ryan (ice hockey)

Matthew " Matt" Ryan ( born November 12, 1983 in Sharon, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since Summer 2012 at Milano Rossoblu in the Italian Serie A1 under contract.

Career

Ryan began his career in 2001 as a team of Niagara University, with whom he played from now on in the U.S. College Football College Hockey America. The right-handed shooter did not finish his studies and moved instead during the 2002/ 03 season in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League with the Guelph Storm. Already in his second season in Guelph, he won the Storm the J. Ross Robertson Cup, the championship of the OHL. Ryan came in 90 games for use and was able to achieve 96 points scorer. Thus he played a big part in the success of the team.

He then joined the 2004/05 season the Manchester Monarchs, the farm team of the Los Angeles Kings, from the American Hockey League game. The trained striker showed good performance in the subsequent period and was able to improve continuously. Finally, he got during the season 2005 /06 the chance to prove himself in the NHL with the Kings. Ryan came in 12 games for use and generated Assist Consequently, he was back in the squad of the Monarchs.

After he eventually barely figured there are opportunities on a long-term commitment in the NHL, he forced the summer of 2008 a move to Europe. There, the leaders of the Augsburger Panther were on the then 25 -year-old attentive and furnished him with a contract. Matt Ryan played accordingly in the 2008 / 09 and 2009/10 season pass for the Panthers onto the ice. For the season 2010/11 Ryan signed a contract with SV Villach. This was followed by the move to Sweden, where he signed for IK Oskarshamn in the second division. In the 2012/13 season, he reinforced the Italian climber Milano Rossoblu.
