Matt Todd

Matt Todd ( born March 24, 1988 in Christchurch, New Zealand) is a New Zealand rugby union player in the position of winger.

Todd is a member of the Rugby club Christchurch RFC. Since 2009 he plays for the national team of the Canterbury RFU in the New Zealand Rugby Championship. With it, he was in 2009, 2010 and 2011 champion. He also won with Canterbury in 2009 ( four successful defenses ) and 2010 ( a successful defense ) the Ranfurly Shield.

Because of his achievements, he was appointed to the cadre of the Crusaders in 2011. They play in the international Super Rugby. A year earlier, he had already been a player of their extended training squad. In his first season he ran in 17 of 18 games for the Crusaders, as he advanced to the injured Richie McCaw season long in the core team, until he was well again. He reached the finals with them, but what they lost 13:18 against the Australian Reds.
