Matteo Bisiani

Matteo Bisiani ( born August 2, 1976 in Monfalcone ) is an Italian archer, who took part in the Olympic Games in 1996 and 2000.

The 1.84 meter tall Bisiani won the 1995 World Championship bronze in the hall with the team. At the outdoor World Championships in Jakarta, the Italian team took second place. At the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta Bisiani reached in the individual competition the round of 16, with the team he won the bronze medal. In 1997 he again won the bronze medal at the World Indoor Championships, in 1999 they were in the hall second behind the Australians. In the outdoor world championship in French Riom won Michele Frangilli, Ilario Di Buo and Matteo Bisiani the title in the team competition against the team from South Korea. A year later, the South Koreans were able to return the favor in the Olympic final and won gold against the Italians. 2001 belonged Bisiani again to the Italian World Cup squad, as the team again won silver behind the Koreans.
