Matteo Galvan

Matteo Galvan ( born August 24, 1988 in Vicenza ) is an Italian athlete.

Career

He began by participating in the giochi sportivi studenteschi (student sports games ) in 2004 with intensive training in athletics on 200 and 400 meters. He was Italian Champion in its class in the 200 meters in 2005. In the U-17 Youth Athletics World Championships he was at the same distance of third parties. A year later, he reached the semi-finals of the U-18 World Championships in Athletics. Galvan then won at the European Indoor Athletics Championships 2009 on March 8, 2009 in Turin in the relay 4 x 400 meter gold medal. Previously, he had become in single race seventh. In July of the same year he won at the XVI. Mediterranean Games in Pescara, the bronze medal in the 200 -meter run.
