Matteo Montaguti

Matteo Montaguti ( born January 6, 1984 in Forlì ) is an Italian track and road racing cyclist.

Career

Matteo Montaguti won at the 2003 U23 European Championships Track Cycling in Valencia the bronze medal in the points race. The following year he was able to repeat this success in Madison. In 2005 he was in San Vincenzo Italian champion in the points race and in 2007 he won the title in the team pursuit. In the 2007 season he also won the road race Targa D' Oro Città di Legnano and became Italian champion in the elite class without a professional contract. Since 2008 he runs Continental team LPR for the Professional.
