Matteo Salvini

Matteo Salvini ( born March 9, 1973 in Milan ) is an Italian politician of the Lega Nord. He became in 2009 member of the European Parliament.

Life

Salvini attended the Manzoni -Gymnasium unhd closed the school in 1992 with the Humanist Abitur. He then studied at the University of Milan history, the study broke off but. Since 1997 he is active as a professional journalist and editor in 1999 at Radio Padania.

He is divorced and the father of two children.

Policy

Salvini came in 1990 with the Northern League. From 1994 to 1997 he was in charge of the youth organization of the Lega Nord in Milan and from 1998 to 2004 Provincial Secretary of the Lega Nord Milan.
