Matteo Trentin

Matteo Trentin ( born August 2, 1989 in Borgo Valsugana ) is an Italian cyclo-cross and road racing cyclist.

Matteo Trentin was 2007 Italian champion in cyclocross the junior class. In 2010 he started at the Cyclocross World Championships in Tabor in the U23 race, where he finished ninth. On the road, drove Trentin 2010 for the team Marchiol - Pasta Montegrappa - Orogildo. He won the one-day races Coppa Città di Lonigo for himself and he won a stage at the Giro della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia. Trentin was suspended in 2007 for 2 months for doping with salbutamol. On July 13, 2013 Trentin won the 14th stage of the Tour de France from Saint- Pourcain -sur -Sioule to Lyon.
