Matthew Carrington (politician)

Matthew Hadrian Marshall Carrington, Baron Carrington of Fulham (* October 19, 1947 ) is a British politician of the Conservative Party. He was from 1987 to 1997 Member of the House of Commons for the electoral district of Fulham ( London). In August 2013 he became a member of the House of Lords.

Life

Carrington studied 1966-1969 at Imperial College London. During this time he was in the chair of the conservative society of Imperial College Conservative Society. He then became Chairman of the Outdoor Advertising Association and CEO of the Retail Motor Industry Federation.

On September 11, 2013 he received the title Baron Carrington of Fulham.
