Matthew Santos
Matthew Santos ( born December 28, 1982 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is an American rock and folk singer and songwriter. It was largely through his collaboration with Lupe Fiasco, in particular on its single " Superstar", internationally known. Santos is currently in Fiascos label 1st & 15th Entertainment under contract.
Santos father is Spanish - Filipino descent, Santos Scandinavian mother. He has a younger sister and an older brother, who is also a musician in the band " Two Wurds ". With six years of Santos began to play piano and at fifteen he learned to play the guitar. He also discovered an interest in painting and graphic design. Until 2001 he attended Southwest High School, then Columbia College Chicago.
In November 2007, Santos released the live album " Matters of the Bittersweet " under the label Candy Council Records. He founded January 2008, the Santos Music Company.
